VJOKE

A blonde wanting to earn some money joined up on Air Tasker and decided to hire herself out as a handywoman-type and started canvassing a wealthy neighbourhood. She went to the front door of the first house and asked the owner if he had any jobs for her to do. “Well, you can paint my porch, how much will you charge?” The blonde said, “How about 50 dollars?” The man agreed and told her that the paint and ladders that she might need were in the garage. The man’s wife was inside the house and overheard the conversation, she said to her husband, “Does she realize that the porch goes all the way around the house and is a lot of work?” The man replied, “She should realise, she was standing there right on the porch.” A short time later the blonde came to the door to collect her money. “You’re finished already?” he asked. “Yes,” the blonde answered, “I had paint left over as well, so I gave it two coats. “Impressed, the man reached in his pocket for the $50. “And by the way,” the blonde added, “That’s not a Porch, it’s a Ferrari.”

VMEETINGS

The Sydney Carnival is coming to an end with its final day this Saturday at Randwick. The main attractions are the Group 1 All Aged Stakes and Group 1 Champagne Stakes and there is also four Group 3 races. Group Racing is on at Morphettville with two Group 3 races and on Sunday it is a “Jam Packed” ANZAC day of racing. Two Listed races at Flemington is the day’s highlight…..

Ajax holds the record for the most consecutive wins in the All Aged Stakes, winning the race three years in a row from 1938-1940. With an emphasis on Horse Racing solely we are the Old Fashioned type of Bookmakers (four generations going back to 1941) concentrating purely on Horse Racing, no Sports, Harness or Greyhounds .
