A blind man enters a bar and finds his way to a barstool. After ordering a drink and sitting there for a while, the blind guy yells to the bartender, “Hey, you wanna hear a blonde joke?” The bar immediately becomes absolutely quiet. In a husky, deep voice, the woman next to him says, “Before you tell that joke, you should know something. The bartender is blonde, the bouncer is blonde and I’m a 6′ tall, 100 kg blonde with a black belt in karate. What’s more, the fella sitting next to me is blonde and he’s a weightlifter. The woman to your right is a blonde and she’s a Pro wrestler. Think about it seriously Mister. You still wanna tell that blonde joke?” The blind guy says, “Nah, not if I’m gonna have to explain it five times.”

VH2H – Head to Head Betting
VICBET H2H Betting is available every race in two groups of three. It is the three Favourites (1st, 2nd and 3rd) combined in one H2H outcome and the second H2H is the 4th, 5th and 6th Favourites combined, excluding the Fav if it is Odds-on (under $2). This is a moving dynamic market so as the odds change for the actual race the odds will change for the H2H outcome. Also, you can pick your own H2H outcome, then simply text or WhatsApp Tim Cleary (0433-339347) and he will price up for you, this can be in a group of two or three. If you are new to VICBET send Tim a text and he will give you a free H2H wager up to $50, once a month……This is a novelty bet type so it is for the small players……
The Group One SA Derby is the highlight of next weekend’s races. Before we get to next Saturday there is the time honoured Warrnambool Racing Carnival starting tomorrow. It is a two day Carnival this year rather than the usual three day extravaganza due to Covid-19. At least Racing is still on so will be awesome viewing especially tomorrow with the Grand Annual Steeplechase over 5,500 metres at 3:45pm………..
In the next few weeks we will be adding the “Live Chat” to the website, at anytime that you have a question, this will be a fast and efficient way of getting an answer……
Up on the VICBET website there are the main Spring Carnival Features as well as the upcoming Goodwood in two weeks at Morphettville. There has been a lot of interest in Adelaide’s biggest Group One Race. After its impressive win in the Group 3 R N Irwin Stakes, Gytrash is a firming $3.50 favourite. This week, anyone can have $4 on the fancied pick with a Max Bet of $1k, up until Midnight on Friday 8th April. Simply place your wager at the current Fixed Odds and we will increase the odds for you. You can send us a reminder by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Have a Fixed Odds Win Bet on ANY Warrnambool Race over the two day Carnival (Tuesday and Wednesday) and if your horse runs second we will refund your stake up to $50! You are welcome to use this Promo on every Warrnambool race. First Fixed Odds Bet on the Race……
The actual first race meeting was conducted in Warrnambool in 1847 on the seafront in front of the Lady Bay Hotel where the horses still prepare today. In 1855 the Government set aside 100 acres as a Racing and Recreation Reserve. Then three years later in 1858 the first race meeting took place and included a three mile steeplechase with the winner collecting 40 sovereigns. The Warrnambool May Carnival dates way back to 1872 with the first running of the Warrnambool Steeplechase, now known as the Grand Annual Steeplechase, it changed its name in 1895. There were 11 runners and the prize money was 100 pounds. The following year in 1873 the first running of the Warrnambool Cup took place. It started off at 3,200m (the Melbourne Cup distance) and has had nine distance changes to arrive at the current 2,350m. It is usually won by one of the local horses that has a proven track record. The Wangoom Handicap is run over 1,200m and was first run in 1888, it is the usual feature of the middle day of the Carnival, this year it is run prior to the Cup for the first time ever…..
