What a year 2021 has been! Just when we thought we were transitioning back into normal life, the Covid roller coaster continues to disrupt the world. The continued patronage and support we have received from you, particularly the last two years, has been amazing and is very much appreciated.

With the Christmas party season upon us right now I would like to share a personal experience with you about drinking and driving. As you may know some of us have been known to have the odd brushes with the Police from time to time. Well two days ago I was out for an evening with friends and had several shots followed by a few 500 ml tankards of my favorite beer – Asahi. Now as you can imagine I was feeling very happy. I still had the sense to know that I may be slightly over the limit. That’s when I did something that I’ve never done before – I took a taxi home. Sure enough on the way home there was a police road block with the breathalyzer but since it was a taxi they waved it straight past. I arrived home safely without incident. This was a real surprise as I had never driven a taxi before, I don’t know where I got it and now that it’s in my garage I don’t know what to do with it…..Merry Christmas!
